[GARO] The Golden Knight is Sculpted, Fitting for the 20th Anniversary!
Thorough Analysis of the Filming Suit Details, Truly Ultimate with Attention to Every Detail!
Golden Knight Garo is Sculpted as an Action Figure!

As the “Garo” series celebrates its 20th anniversary, the figure of the “father” has finally been sculpted using the Shinkocchou Seihou method. Yes, Saejima Kouga's father, Taiga Saejima, in his younger days fighting as the Golden Knight Garo, is revived with overwhelming sculpting and expressive power. More than just a figure, this is truly a “legacy” that embodies the spirit of the work “GARO.” For long-time fans who have followed the series, it is not just highly anticipated, but an item that feels as if it were promised.
The name “Shinkocchou Seihou” is not just for show. This Garo model pursues the realism of “a person wearing armor and fighting” to the extreme, through a design that is mindful of the internal skeletal structure, rather than just being decorative. The design is meticulously calculated: a thorough analysis of the details of the filming suit, sculptural engraving, decoration without any compromise on the front and back, and even the depth of the panel lines on the surface. All of these achieve a realism that makes it seem as if it has leaped out of the screen.
The glossy gold plating applied to the golden armor is not merely a color; the texture itself seems to possess life. The way the light hits it changes the shadows, and the panel lines increase the three-dimensional feel—it is truly a work of art. Furthermore, Taiga Saejima's characteristic “crimson burning eyes” are carefully painted, and those eyes, whose expression changes depending on the viewing angle, emit an intensity as if a soul resides within.
Speaking of Garo, the beauty of “movement” that cannot be told just by standing still is also a charm. The articulation mechanism this time truly embodies that soul. With the shoulder armor's raising mechanism, double-jointed elbow structure, and shoulder joints that can swing forward and backward, the stance of holding the “Garo Sword” with both hands can be naturally reproduced. The articulation of the neck armor does not obstruct the range of motion of the arms, and poses like raising the thigh high or forcefully spreading the legs are completely natural. While keeping the original high-instep design of the ankles, the freely movable structure is truly commendable.
And we must not forget the presence of the “Garo Sword.” The pattern on the blade is precisely reproduced with printing, and its sharpness is as if you are looking at a real weapon. Metal material is used for the chain part of the sheath, pursuing realism as a “weapon” rather than just an optional part. Drawing the sword, sheathing it, posing with the grip removed—the impeccable sculpting from every angle is a pleasure that only those who hold it can savor.
What is also particularly noteworthy is the presentation of the packaging. The luxurious sleeve has a structure that “releases the compass,” making the act of opening it part of the presentation, rather than just a simple outer box. When unfolded, it can be used as a background sheet featuring the “Sacred Beast” illustration by Keita Amemiya, allowing you to recreate a climax scene from the show in your display. The true value of this figure lies in the feeling that the entire world of the work is packed inside the box.
