For the first time in the series' 70-year history, a boy inherits Godzilla's power! The story being animated is about a boy who “inherits Godzilla's power”!!
So! Actually, information was recently revealed that the Godzilla series, with its over 70-year history, will finally officially release an anime work!
Only this image and the concept of 'a story about a boy who inherits Godzilla's power' have been released! It looks as if the boy's body is transforming and emitting a beam, like Godzilla's breath...... doesn't it?
The production company is centered around TOHO animation, with the studio and staff who created Godzilla Singular Point reuniting! While anime featuring Godzilla itself have been made before, this seems to be the first time for an anime version where the protagonist is an existence that harbors Godzilla's power, separate from Godzilla itself!
