A quick explanation of the tokusatsu hero TAROMAN,
who has become a hot topic overseas!
First of all, to explain in one sentence, the tokusatsu TV drama TAROMAN does exist!
To explain in more detail, it is the 2022 tokusatsu TV drama ”TAROMAN: Taro Okamoto-Style Tokusatsu Action Drama,” which was created based on the concept of a ”tokusatsu hero show broadcast in the 1970s” and themed around the words and works of artist Taro Okamoto! There were many questioning voices saying, ”Wait, wasn't TAROMAN not broadcast in 1970???” but it’s basically a slightly mysterious tokusatsu drama with a retro atmosphere!

What TAROMAN fights are the (real-life) artworks of Taro Okamoto that have become monsters called ”Kijuu” (strange beasts)! When the theatrical version was released in 2025, an exhibition event was also held! Since the artist's works attack as monsters, the exhibition was very artistic!
