To celebrate the 55th anniversary of Kamen Rider, a brand-new film has been greenlit!
What is this new story unfolding for Kamen Rider Kabuto......!?
At the recent event celebrating the 55th anniversary of the Kamen Rider franchise, a new movie depicting the 'aftermath' of Kamen Rider Kabuto—which hits its 20th anniversary this year—was officially announced!
Kamen Rider Kabuto is the 7th series in the Heisei Era, originally airing in January 2006! While produced as the 35th-anniversary program for the franchise, its concept was 'The Strongest Kamen Rider,' leading to the rhinoceros beetle—the king of insects—being chosen as the motif!
The story begins with a meteorite crashing into Shibuya. As humanity struggles to recover from the disaster, extraterrestrial lifeforms known as 'Worms' begin to attack! In the midst of this crisis, the dashing Souji Tendo appears, transforms into Kamen Rider Kabuto, and stands against the Worms......!
Those men return after 20 years. And the legend moves toward the future......!
The conflict between humanity and the Worms was supposed to have ended 20 years ago. But now, it seems to be stirring again due to someone's hidden agenda......! In this moment of peril, will those men return......!? It seems the legendary cast will reunite after two decades to face a brand-new threat in this theatrical feature!
