[Kamen Rider] The “[Sou] to wear, [Dou] to move” SO-DO series returns!
The 5th wave of mini articulated figures, featuring all 10 types including unrevealed entries, is here! Move and pose Gotchard and Zeztz with your own hands!

There’s always something exciting about opening a collectible item, even when you already know what’s inside. It’s not just “What did I get?” — it’s the anticipation of imagining all the different ways you’ll enjoy it. SO-DO Kamen Rider Zeztz AGT5 Feat. SO-DO Kamen Rider Gotchard (12-Pack) feels exactly like the kind of series that builds up that excitement. The SO-DO line isn’t just about displaying figures on a shelf — part of its appeal comes from assembling them yourself and actually posing and moving them around. That’s why even before opening the box, it already feels like the fun has started, imagining action poses and recreating favorite scenes in your head.
Among this lineup, one figure that immediately stands out is Kamen Rider Zeztz Exdream. Just hearing that it is described as the “ultimate form that surpasses both dreams and reality” already sparks curiosity, but what feels especially impressive is how faithfully its unique color scheme has been recreated in figure form. The paintwork, including subtle gradient effects, adds a richness that goes beyond simple color separation. Combined with stickers used to reproduce the more intricate details, the completed form looks surprisingly dynamic and impactful. The SO-DO series often delivers a stronger presence than its small size suggests, and this form feels like a particularly strong example of that appeal.
One of the greatest strengths of the SO-DO series is that it doesn’t stop at simply looking good while standing still. Of course, displaying the figures is fun, but the real enjoyment expands the moment you pick them up. Kamen Rider Twilight Majade, for example, comes with the Dark Defenderk, and its articulation adds an extra layer of fun. Since the joint positioning allows you to adjust the weapon’s length, it becomes more than just something to place in the character’s hands. You can experiment with different stances, imagine dramatic battle scenes, and try increasingly bold poses. Before long, you might find yourself completely losing track of time while thinking, “What pose should I try next?” It feels like a feature only possible in a series that truly understands the joy of movement.
Kamen Rider Valvarad Kurogane also includes details that make you want to take a closer look. The two Valvarashers can be mounted onto the figure’s back, and even small details like this dramatically expand the possibilities for display. Rather than simply holding weapons, it allows you to imagine standby moments before battle or scenes of movement between fights, making the character feel much more expressive. Tiny gimmicks like these may seem minor at first glance, but they make a huge difference once displayed.
Another big appeal of this release is that it isn’t designed to end with just one figure. With a lineup of 10 total types — including unrevealed entries — the collection aspect feels intentionally exciting. Series like this have a funny way of making you think, “Maybe just one more,” over and over again. Before you realize it, the characters begin lining up together, poses become more elaborate, and suddenly you’ve created your own little display world. The SO-DO series goes beyond the limits of ordinary candy-toy collectibles and naturally encourages fans to build their own scenes and stories. This fifth wave looks more than ready to spark that collector’s excitement once again.
