【Kamen Rider Build】 That dragon-type autonomous action mecha renewed and reappears! Rotating the lever triggers belt light-up & transformation sounds! SUPER BEST DX Cross-Z Dragon decided to go on sale!

If you watched “Kamen Rider Build,” wouldn't you remember the scene where Ryuga Banjo transforms into Kamen Rider Cross-Z? “DX Cross-Z Dragon,” which can reproduce that powerful transformation with your own hands, has returned as the SUPER BEST series! Moreover, this time it is a reappearance with a new package. Speaking of Cross-Z, Banjo's figure fighting while exposing hot fighting spirit is impressive, and what supports that transformation is Cross-Z Dragon, a dragon-type mecha. It is not a mere tool for transformation, but a special existence that showed its own active performance in the show too. If becoming able to take such a reliable partner in hand again, the excitement of those days seems likely to be revived.

In the first place, who made Cross-Z Dragon and for what purpose? Actually, this mecha is what the genius physicist Sento Kiryu developed as an overseer for Ryuga Banjo. Going out of the way to make a dragon-type autonomous action mecha to watch over Banjo, who is free-spirited and full of momentum, is truly Sento-like, isn't it? What's more, it is not a robot of appearance alone. On top of being able to act on its own, it is equipped even with a mechanism where functions are expanded when loading the Dragon Fullbottle. Precisely because it is an existence where Sento's technical capabilities and Banjo's individuality seem combined, Cross-Z Dragon likely holds interest different from other transformation items.

What we want to pay attention to particularly in this DX Cross-Z Dragon is transformation play as expected. By setting Cross-Z Dragon into the separately sold “SUPER BEST Henshin Belt DX Build Driver” and rotating the lever, the belt lights up and transformation sounds resound. Precisely this series of operations is the real pleasure for fully acting as Kamen Rider Cross-Z, isn't it? Equipping the item with your own hands and moving the lever to complete the transformation. Packed with fun unique to toys that cannot be tasted merely by gazing at videos. In addition, since Build Driver is not attached, let's prepare it separately when enjoying transformation play.

For transformation items, sound directions are one of the indispensable charms, aren't they? System voices of Cross-Z Dragon are handled by Mr. Kobayashi, same as Build Driver. However, it is not that everything is the same atmosphere, and the feature is that effects are partially added. Through such voice processing, a unique presence typical of dragon-type mecha is born. While feeling commonality with Kamen Rider Build's transformation system, being able to enjoy individuality unique to Cross-Z Dragon is interesting. Listening closely to voices during transformation and bringing impressive scenes in the show to mind seems good too.

The first appearance of Cross-Z Dragon in the main story was episode 6. Actually, this mecha is not only related to transformation, but holds quite versatile abilities. For example, it has an attack ability typical of dragons, discharging blue flames from its mouth. However, what is even more surprising than that is detoxification ability. Surprisingly, biting opponents infested with poison and sucking that poison out. It is unexpected that it is equipped even with functions for helping allies, hard to imagine from its brave figure spitting flames. Knowing such active performances in the show, Cross-Z Dragon is not a mere transformation mecha, but firmly in the story

Dragon Fullbottle also attached! A partner item you want to get!

Set contents are 1 “Cross-Z Dragon” and 1 “Dragon Fullbottle.” That the Fullbottle involved in Cross-Z Dragon's functions is included together is a delightful point. This time's SUPER BEST version can be called an item not only where fans who enjoyed the work in those days feel nostalgia, but also which people wanting to collect toys of “Kamen Rider Build” from now on want to pay attention to. The small dragon born by Sento and active together with Banjo. If taking it in hand while recalling that background, affection seems likely to spring up further in transformation play too. If you want to enjoy Kamen Rider Cross-Z's hot battle once again, it is an item you want to check out by all means!
